Penn and Teller New Discovery Channel Show
Teller has just made it official on his Twitter page: Penn and Teller will now be hosting a new show on the Discovery Channel called Secrets of the Universe. I believe the basic premise will be that they will be profiling crazy and unbelievable stories, and in each episode, one of those tails will be a lie. It is up to the viewer and studio audience to discern the lie.
With so little information, it is hard to judge whether the program will be any good, but there’s no question that the magical duo is on fire. Between their hit Showtime and Law Vegas shows, their constant media attention (just this week they were guest voices on the Simpsons) and endless stream of new projects, it’s hard to imagine how they will find the time to put out a quality program.
Time will tell, so stay tuned for Secrets of the Universe to air this fall on the Discovery Channel.
